FitOff
Privacy Policy
FitOff is a 1v1 steps competition. This policy explains what information FitOff processes, what other players can see, and how to ask for account deletion.
Account
You can sign in with an email address and password, or with Sign in with Apple. FitOff uses Supabase to authenticate your account. Your profile can include a display name, initials, an avatar reference, timezone, notification setting, and account identifiers. The name you choose is how other players see you in battles, ranks, friends, and messages.
Apple Health
If you allow it, FitOff reads your step count, active energy, and resting heart rate from Apple Health. FitOff uses that information to score battles and show your stats. FitOff does not write workouts or other data back to Apple Health, and it does not ask you to type activity totals in by hand.
Step totals and active-calorie totals are sent to FitOff’s backend so battles, stats, and ranks can work. That can include today’s totals, recent daily steps, match results, pace used for scoring, and step progress during an active battle. Resting heart rate is used to show health information in the app. It is not included in battle notifications.
FitOff does not use Apple Health information for advertising, and it does not sell that information.
Battles, ranks, friends, and messages
FitOff stores friend requests, battle details, and message text so those features can work. Messages are for accepted friends. A message notification can include the sender’s name and a short preview. A battle notification can include step counts, calorie totals, or battle scores.
Other players can see the activity FitOff is designed to show them. Someone in a battle with you can see the step and score information used to score that battle. Weekly steps can appear on the Global ranks board, not only to friends. Friends ranks are limited to accepted friends. Your display name can appear with that activity.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, FitOff can send alerts for battles, friends, results, and messages. FitOff stores a notification token, and a Live Activity token when that feature is used, so Apple can deliver those alerts. You can turn notifications off in FitOff or in iOS Settings.
FitOff Pro
FitOff Pro is an auto-renewable subscription processed by Apple. FitOff can read whether your Apple ID has an active subscription so it can allow unlimited simultaneous matches. FitOff does not receive your payment-card number. Apple shows the current price and offer before you subscribe.
Analytics and diagnostics
FitOff sends product analytics to its Supabase backend so we can understand how the app is used and keep it reliable. An event can include your profile identifier, an app session identifier, the app version, and the name of an action, such as signing in, opening a screen, starting a battle, or starting a purchase. Those events are not your Apple Health samples.
FitOff can also send warning and error logs to that backend to diagnose problems. FitOff does not include third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. If you send feedback from the app, that message is stored with your profile identifier.
What stays on your device
FitOff keeps some preferences and temporary copies on your iPhone. That includes your daily step goal, notification inbox, Live Activity setting, message read position, and caches used to show Home, stats, and battles faster. Those local copies are not a substitute for the account, battle, and message information stored with FitOff’s backend.

Retention and deletion
FitOff keeps account, profile, battle, friend, and message information while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. After you ask us to delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal information associated with that account. Completed match history may remain in limited or anonymized form where needed to preserve other players’ match records. Deleting the FitOff app from your iPhone does not, by itself, delete information already stored for your account.
In-app account deletion is not available yet. Open Profile → Account Deletion and email us with your FitOff display name or user ID.
